ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has announced to support bill presented by Aitzaz Ahsan in Senate and National Assembly for investigation of Panama Leaks, while Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that ToRs Committee became useless due to government stubbornness.
PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah and Aitzaz Ahsan in Parliament House.
Talking to media after the meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that negotiations with government over Panama Leaks have become dead horse and ToRs Committee has become powerless. Aitzaz Ahsan prepared bill keeping in mind ToRs and PTI will support the bill whenever it will be presented in Senate and National Assembly.
On this eve, Aitzaz Ahsan said that PTI and PPP have same stance over Panama Leaks. Everyone must be held accountable, but the accountability must begin with Prime Minister. It is not possible that Prime Minister’s team formalize code of conduct of accountability of PM, while Khursheed Shah also announced to bring motion in National Assembly against MQM chief.
