Sukkur (August 19, 2018): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah on Sunday stressed upon the need to revisit electoral legislation to ensure transparent elections in the country.
He said that PPP will introduce new laws to ensure free and fair elections in the country. Khursheed Shah said that his party always stood with the people. The PPP leader said that he was disappointed by the PM Imran’s maiden speech in the National Assembly.
Shah added Khan’s speech wasn’t that of stature of the prime minister (PM). “Ostensibly, Khan’s speech gives the impression that India s Lalu Prasad Yadav is his political mentor”.
Shah went on to say that he wasn’t accepting such irresponsible behaviour from Imran Khan as he idealizes Pakistan’s founder Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
“If this is Naya Pakistan, then God may have mercy upon us”, prayed Shah while adding at the same time Khan’s provoked opposition to stage sit-in by offering container.
