ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Conference convened by Pakistan People’s Party over the issue of military court started in Islamabad under the chair of PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM), Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat, Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali Khan, Qaumi Watan Party chief Aftab Ahmed Sherpao, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur rehman, Awami Tehrik leaders and legislators from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) are participating in the APC.
The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has not been invited to moot while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf refused to participate in the APC.
The APC has been called to evolve consensus on military courts and its duration, FATA Reforms and implementation on National Action Plan.
