KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party’s Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has won the by-election from PS-127 constituency Malir, Karachi. According to the final results Baloch won the by-election with MQM’s Waseem Ahmad as runner-up.
Informing the media about the final results outside his office Returning Officer Ikram Hussain said that Ghulam Murtaza secured 21,187 votes while his closest opponent Waseem Ahmad secured 15,663 votes. PTI’s candidate Nadeem Memon bagged 5,580 votes.
The turn-out at 134 polling stations was 21 percent, he added.
