Reduction In Railways Fares For Blind, Poor Persons

Islamabad (October 11, 2018): Pakistan Railway has announced the reduction in fares of blind and poor persons.

According to the information, the railway had decreased freight fares upto 50% for blind persons and also their caretaker, who would travel with them, now they can easily take a caretaker with themselves at half fare.

On the other hand, the railway has also reduced the fares for old aged citizens upto 50% and also reduced Rs.150 for economy class tickets.

While speeching in Senate, Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed said, he will make sure internet Wifi services in trains at the end of 100 days. We have also reduced the wheelchair fees at railway stations, he added.
