Sources from the district administration report that a dedicated registration center has been set up in Piyandi China for affected households. Since its opening, over 2,500 families have completed registration. Of these, 176 families have received an initial financial package of two and a half lakh rupees each after being verified by NADRA and other relevant agencies.

Every displaced family will be given an upfront amount of two and a half lakh rupees, along with a monthly financial aid of fifty thousand rupees, allowing families to choose their preferred places of residence.

Furthermore, the district authorities announced that military operations against militants in the region are expected to be completed within the next two months. Following the operation, the government plans to begin the return and rehabilitation process from April 5th.

Estimates suggest that the population of Maidan in Teri Valley is approximately 130,000. Compensation for fully destroyed homes has been set at 3 million rupees, while those with partial damage will receive 1 million rupees in compensation.
