Preparations For Zimbabwe Tour Of National Cricket Team

Lahore (June 26, 2018): Pakistan cricket team has started preparing at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore for their Zimbabwe tour. All selected players have passed the fitness test. Players that passed the  fitness test includes leg spinner Yasir Shah and Batsman Babar Azam.

According to details, the National Cricket Team will leave on Thursday morning for this tour. The tour will include a series of five ODI matches against Zimbabwe and T-20 series with Australia.Sarfaraz Ahmed has started practicing in a short training camp at Gaddafi Stadium. On the opening day of the camp, all selected players pass the fitness test, including leg-spinner Yasir Shah and Batsman Babar Azam, who were unfit for a long time. Players also passed the ‘yo-yo’ test by crossing the much required challenge of 17.4.Head coach of National Cricket team, Mickey Arthur said that he is very pleased with the results of the player’s fitness test. Mickey Arthur also introduced the best fitness culture in the team, which is now followed by all the players. Better results will also be achieved with improved fitness.

Head coach further said that Grant Luden and coaches of National Academy coaches have put great efforts in fitness improvement and they should be appreciated.
