LAHORE: President Dr Arif Alvi met Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore on Thursday and expressed deep sorrow over the death of his father Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar.
The President also offered Fateha for peace of the departed soul of late Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar.
Earlier, President Alvi was welcomed by acting Governor Punjab CH Pervez Elhai upon arrival at Lahore Airport.
Both leaders also held a meeting at the lounge of Lahore Airport to discuss matters pertaining to political interest.
