President arrives in Doha to participate in world social development conference

DOHA: President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Doha, Qatar, to attend the upcoming World Social Development Conference on an official visit. Upon his arrival, he and his delegation were welcomed at Hamad International Airport by senior Qatari officials and the Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar.

During the conference, the President is expected to deliver a keynote speech outlining Pakistan’s efforts and initiatives aimed at promoting social development and fostering inclusive economic growth. He will highlight key projects such as the launch of the Doha Alliance, the Social Protection and Jobs Compact, and various other programs aligned with international development goals.

President Zardari will also underscore the critical need for mobilizing financial resources to support social and environmental reforms, including mechanisms like the SDG stimulus and other global sustainability initiatives.

Throughout his stay, the President is scheduled to hold meetings with numerous regional and international leaders, as well as representatives from prominent global organizations. These discussions aim to strengthen cooperation and explore avenues for advancing Pakistan’s social development agenda on the international stage.
