Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the finance bill 2024-2025.
The finance bill will be applicable from July 1 this year.
The National Assembly (NA) secretariat has received the finance bill 2024-2025 signed by the President.The President signed the finance bill on the advise of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif under article 75.
The federal budget has volume of Rs 18,870 billion. Under the finance bill various taxes and duties altered.
With the imposition of the finance bill more than Rs 200 billion taxes will be applicable.On yesterday, Speaker NA Ayaz Saddiq had sent the amended finance bill to the President.
