Islamabad (April 06, 2018): The President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan firmly stands along Kashmiris and would continue to support their struggle.
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of four-day National Book Festival in Islamabad on Friday.
The President appealed to the international community to play its role in stopping bloodshed of Kashmiris and resolution of the longstanding issue of Kashmir as per UN resolutions.
He said that Pakistan came into being for development and protection of the humanity and it has served the purpose with a great struggle.
Felicitating the National Book Foundation over organizing the book festival, he said that the festival will spread the fragrance of books in the field of knowledge and literature.
He urged the intellectuals to play their due role for the cause of promoting book culture in the country.
