Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi has said that he is worried after situation emerged after the arrest of former premier Imran Khan while loss of human lives are heart breaking, concerning, sorrowful and condemnable.
In his tweet today, the President said that every citizen has right to protest but it should be always in the ambit of law.
Dr Arif Alvi said that after arrest of Imran Khan in a manner myscreants have harmed government, military and private assets are condemnable.
I am alarmed, shocked & deeply disturbed over the current situation in the country arising out of the arrest & manhandling of the former PM Imran Khan. The loss of human lives as an aftermath is heart-wrenching, regrettable, unfortunate & highly condemnable.

He said that he expressed his reservations with political and military leadership and hope full that the situation will be improved.
