ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have jointly voiced their profound sorrow over the martyrdom of four individuals, including the Assistant Commissioner of North Waziristan, in a recent terrorist incident in Bannu.
In separate statements, both leaders prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their families. They reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to eliminate terrorism from the nation.
The President emphasized that terrorists operating with external backing are being systematically targeted and neutralized through a unified national effort.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister assured that the government will continue to counter all malicious plots by terrorists, whom he described as enemies of humanity, and will do everything necessary to ensure national security.
