ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has stressed need for the promotion of virtual education in the country to increase the number of graduates of information technology.
He was talking to a delegation of Digital Cooperation Organization, joined by Secretary General DCO, Dima Aliha and Secretary IT Muhammad Sohail Rajput in Islamabad today [Thursday].
Under the vision of Digital Pakistan, the President said investment is being made to improving digital infrastructure and creating digital skills.
He said digitalization governance system and working of parliament would be completed by 2023, which would help improve efficiency.
Secretary General DCO congratulated Pakistan on becoming a member of organization and said the organization would promote Pakistan as an attractive country for foreign investment.
