WASHINGTON: The White House has released the results of President Donald Trump’s first official medical examination since taking office, affirming that he is in excellent physical and mental health.
The routine annual checkup, conducted on Friday, included both physical and cognitive assessments. Following the examination, President Trump expressed confidence in his health, stating,
“Both the physical and mental tests went well. My heart and mind are in good condition.”
In a light-hearted remark, Trump added,
“Overall, I felt great. I thought I should do something different from Biden, so I took a mental test too, and got all the answers right.”
According to the official statement from the White House, the presidential medical team, led by Dr. Sean Barbabella, has certified that President Trump is fully capable of executing his responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
While the report indicates overall excellent health, it does note a few minor concerns, such as sun-related skin damage and a scar on his right ear, a remnant from the assassination attempt in July. International media have previously questioned the transparency surrounding President Trump’s health. In response, the White House emphasized that a comprehensive medical evaluation has been conducted and that a full report will be made publicly available
