PESHAWAR: President Dr Arif Alvi says the government is making a policy in consultation with Higher Education Commission to provide free of cost higher education to disabled people.
Interacting with special persons in Peshawar today (Monday), he said the government is taking effective measures to financially stabilize special persons by making them self-sufficient.
Dr Arif Alvi said the government has announced a number of educational scholarships for disables besides ensuring their quota in government departments.
He said the government is also providing loans to these people enabling them to start their own businesses.
