ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has vehemently denounced the Israeli assault on the Sumud Gaza Flotilla, condemning it as a serious violation of human rights and international law.
In a statement today, he praised the courage and humanitarian dedication of the Pakistani citizens who took part in the flotilla, emphasizing their bravery in support of the Palestinian people.
The President called on the global community to take immediate action to guarantee the continuous and unobstructed delivery of aid to Gaza’s residents. He expressed his heartfelt wishes for the safety and rapid return of the Pakistani participants aboard the flotilla.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering stance, President Zardari underscored that the country will always stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
