ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled for an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 13 to 16, 2026.
Accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, the announcement was made by the Foreign Office through a press release issued on Monday.
During the trip, the President is set to hold meetings with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, ruler of Bahrain, and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as both Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The discussions will center around key bilateral, regional, and global matters of shared interest.
This visit aims to bolster Pakistan’s longstanding relations with the Gulf nation while exploring new avenues for collaboration in trade, economic partnerships, defense, security, and promoting closer cultural and social ties.
