ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari met Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed al-Malki at Aiwan-e-Sadr and discussed various matters specially focus on trade, economy and culture.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present during the meeting, the leaders exchanged views on boosting cooperation and taking Pakistan- Saudi Arabia relations to the next level.
President Zardari said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share strong ties based on a common faith and mutual trust. He welcomed Saudi investment in Pakistan, noting that the country offers a business-friendly environment.
He emphasised that both nations see eye to eye on many global issues and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s continuous support during tough times.
Zardari also extended warm wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, referring to them as true friends of Pakistan.
