ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has sustained a foot fracture and has returned home after receiving treatment, including a plaster cast, with doctors advising complete rest.
According to a spokesperson from the President’s House, Zardari injured his foot while disembarking from a plane at Dubai Airport last night. He was promptly taken to a hospital for initial medical attention.
Following an examination, doctors applied a plaster to his foot, which is expected to remain in place for four weeks. The spokesperson confirmed, “President Zardari has been sent home, and doctors have recommended that he take complete rest during his recovery.”
