Presidential Reference: SC Orders To Arrest People Involved In Attack On Sindh House

Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Monday ordered to arrest those involved in an attack on the Sindh house while the top court ordered advocate general Sindh to submit report until tomorrow.

The SC resumed hearing of the presidential reference filed by the government seeking interpretation of the Article 63 (A). A five-member larger bench headed by the Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial hearing the case.

The CJ remarked that the petition was heard just next day of incident adding that we don’t hear like this in an ordinary situation.

The CJ urged that a plaintiff should approach the respective forum and use the available remedy.

Advocate General Islamabad said that terrorism law not applicable in the case adding that whatever can be done under the law was followed.

He said that some people were arrested and now they are on bail. To this, the CJ said that you are talking about the old arrest adding that childish articles are included in an FIR of the case.

The honourable CJ asked the advocate General Islamabad to apprise present progress of the case. To which, advocate general Islamabad said that we can ask it from Inspector General of police (IG) after calling him in the court.
Justice Umar Atta Bandial directed that you should go and arrest the people involved in the attack on the Sindh house.
