ISLAMABAD: President House has requested the government for a report on its performance over the past year.
While addressing to the joint session of Parliament President Asif Zardari said, Presidency has requested a one-year performance report from the government.
According to sources, the President will highlight key points of the government’s performance over the past year in his speech, including the outcomes of significant economic measures taken by the government.
Sources indicate that the President will address important regional and global issues, including Kashmir and Palestine, in his speech.
According to sources, due to the anticipated protests from the opposition, the duration of the President’s speech will be around 20 to 25 minutes.
Sources indicate that a joint session of Parliament has been decided to be held on March 10, marking the start of the second parliamentary year with the President’s address.
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will preside over the joint session of Parliament.
