Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached Karachi on a daylong visit, during which he will hold meetings among others with businessmen and exporters.
Upon his arrival in the city, the Prime Minister was received by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. The PM is also accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the visit to the port city.
During his stay in the port city, besides other engagements the Prime Minister will meet rice exporters and will also visit Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
