ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially launched the Ramadan Package 2025, which will benefit 4 million families.
While addressing to the inauguration ceremony of the Ramadan Package 2025 PM Shehbaz Sharif stated, financial assistance of 5,000 rupees per family will be provided to 4 million households (approximately 20 million Pakistanis) through a digital wallet. He expressed gratitude to Allah, noting that inflation is lower this year during the month of Ramadan compared to previous years.
This year, a substantial amount of 20 billion rupees has been allocated for the Ramadan package, which will benefit 4 million Pakistani families. Last year, this amount was 7 billion rupees, representing an increase of approximately 200% this time, said Shehbaz Sharif
He further said, Ramadan package has been introduced for all of Pakistan without discrimination. Families in all cities from Karachi to Gilgit have been included in this package. To ensure transparency in this package, the efforts of the State Bank, NADRA, and tax institutions are commendable.
