ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed relevant authorities to submit a comprehensive plan for the development of Daanish University, including a detailed construction schedule, within the next two weeks.
During a high-level review meeting held in Islamabad today, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of designing the university’s academic and administrative systems to stand out from traditional institutions, prioritizing excellence and innovation.
Highlighting the vision behind the project, Shehbaz Sharif stated that Daanish University aims to deliver world-class education to gifted students from underprivileged backgrounds, fostering opportunities for talented youth.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of a robust outreach program that ensures children from economically weaker and middle-income families are aware of and able to access the university’s facilities and programs.
Officials briefed the meeting that the university plans to recruit distinguished faculty members from leading international universities to maintain high academic standards.
Additionally, it was revealed that the campus will be constructed following cutting-edge design principles aligned with global standards. The bidding process for the project’s construction is anticipated to begin shortly, signaling the next phase of this ambitious initiative.
