ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday strongly denounced the blast outside Data Darbar in Lahore which claimed multiple lives and injured dozens.
The Premier has sympathized with the bereaved families. He has ordered the concerned authorities concerned to provide top-notch medical treatment to the injured.
At least eight people have been martyred with scores injured in a blast near car of Elite forces right outside Data Darbar in Lahore.
Police have said that the eight individuals who embraced martyrdom included five police personnel, two citizens and one security guard.
Injured have been shifted to Mayo Hospital where an emergency has been declared, police added.
Additional IG said that a 7kg explosive was used for the blast which totally annihilated the Elite Force’s car.
He added that 25 other persons have sustained injuries with six of them being in critical condition.
