Islamabad : Pakistan forms joint task force to combat domestic propaganda and identify perpetrators.
A 10-member joint task force was formed under the chairmanship of Chairman PTA, Officers of other institutions are also included in the joint task force. The purpose of this Joint Task Force is to identify elements spreading false propaganda in view of recent protests, Notification
As per the notification, task force will formulate its recommendations within ten days and submit the notification to the government.
In this Joint task force, ISI, MI representatives and DIG Police Islamabad,Director FIA Cybercrime, Joint Director IB
and Joint Secretary Ministry of Interior are included.
