Quetta: Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Friday here said progress of Balochistan was the main priority of his government.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Ali Mardan Domki after his arrival here.
The chief minister briefed the PM on the administrative affairs of the province.
The prime minister directed that a detailed briefing should be presented regarding the administrative affairs and development and infrastructure projects of Balochistan.
He said progress of Pakistan was not possible without progress of Balochistan, adding Balochistan was not only rich in natural resources but its real strength was its capable human resources.
Earlier, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar arrived in Quetta on Friday for a three-day visit to Balochistan.
On his arrival at Quetta Airport, he was received by Interim Chief Minister of Balochistan Ali Mardan Khan Domki and other high ranking officials.
Upon his arrival at chief minister house, guard of honour was presented for the premier.
The meeting between Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq Kakar and Chief Minister Baluchistan Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki was held at the CM house wherein they discussed important matters of the province including law and order situation and matters of mutual interest.
The premier thanked the CM over giving him warm welcome.
During his visit, the Caretaker Prime Minister will hold meetings with the Balochistan Governor as well.
He will also preside over the meeting on the law and order situation in the province.
