KARACHI: A protest demonstration was staged against DG Cultural Department Sindh, Manzoor Kanasro, Hakim Ali Rahojo and contractor, Waliullah Bhutto by the civil society of Thatta.
The protestors were led by M. Muzaffar Shaikh, Mir Maqbool, and others. The protestors demanded immediate inquiry of the corruption charges against the Kanasro mafia.
They alleged that funds were embezzled in the preservation work of the Makli and Bhambhor archaeological sites.
The angry protestors also demanded of the Kansaro system to tender an apology to the people of Thatta over calling them a ‘blackmailer’.
