ISLAMABAD: The categories for international players for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 draft have been revealed. The PSL 10 draft was originally scheduled for January 11.
On the other hand, the categories of international players for the PSL draft have been disclosed. The following players have been included in the Platinum Category:
- Australia: David Warner, Matthew Short, Sean Abbott, Chris Lynn, Usman Khawaja
- Bangladesh: Mustafizur Rahman, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan
- New Zealand: Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Michael Bracewell
- Sri Lanka: Kusal Mendis
- England: David Willey, Zak Crawley, Jason Roy, Alex Hales
A total of 40 international players are included in the Platinum Category, only 6 foreign players available in the Platinum Category.
After not being selected in the Platinum Category, other players will be available in the Diamond and Gold categories. Australia’s wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey is part of the Diamond Category.
In total, there are 87 international players available in the Diamond Category for the PSL draft, while 165 international players have registered for the Gold Category in the PSL 10 draft.
