KARACHI: A diver, with the support of the Pakistan Navy, retrieved the PSL 10 trophy from the bottom of the Arabian Sea and handed it over to the representatives of PSL franchises.
According to the PCB, the trophy has been named The Luminara Trophy. It is made of silver and features over 22,000 zircon stones.
PCB Chairman, Najam Sethi, stated that the trophy represents the shining legacy of the league and its bright future.
PSL CEO, Salman Naseer, remarked that the HBL PSL has always been a deep reservoir of talent, resilience, and sportsmanship.
It is important to note that the 10th edition of HBL PSL will begin on April 11.
An exhibition match will be held on April 8 in Peshawar, while the opening match on April 11 will be played between the defending champions Islamabad United and two-time champions Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The 6-team tournament will feature 34 matches from April 11 to May 18, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium hosting 13 matches, including 2 eliminators and the final. The event’s final will be played on May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
