KARACHI: Islamabad United claimed a commanding 9-wicket win against Lahore Qalandars in PSL 11.
The match took place in Karachi, where Islamabad won the toss and chose to bowl first. Lahore Qalandars struggled with the bat, bowled out in the 19th over for only 100 runs. Top scorers for Lahore included Saimak Raza with 25, Haseebullah with 19, and Ahsan Ali with 15.
Islamabad’s bowling attack was impressive, with Chris Green taking three wickets, and Racheal Gillespie, Imad Wasim, and Shadab Khan each claiming two wickets.
Chasing the target, Islamabad United comfortably reached 101 runs in the 11th over with just one wicket lost. Devan Conway led the way with an unbeaten 59, while Mohammad Faiq added 34 runs to secure the win. Sami Moinas scored 5 before being dismissed.
