PSP Participates In Sindh Assembly Session

Karachi (February 23, 2018): Sindh Assembly members who defected to Pak Sarzameen Party from MQM-Pakistan on Friday participated in the Sindh Assembly session after remaining absent for over two years from the house.

Talking to media outside Sindh Assembly, PSP Lawmaker Muhammad Dilawar said that they returned to the assembly after two years and now their eight members would participate in today’s session.

He said that now they would not give the opportunity to those who had raised anti-Pakistan slogans. “We will be in the assemblies and will raise the Pakistan Zindabad slogans,” he said.He said that the KMC’s claim of not having enough funds is fabricated as to when they are paying for 15000 sweepers why there is no cleanliness in the city.

He said that speaker has the power to de-seat any lawmaker who remains absent for 40 days but he did not exercise his power. “Those who did not accept our resignations are in fear that they would be unable to win the seats from these constituencies again,” he said.

The assembly proceedings were later adjourned for Monday due to the death of MPA Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani.
