KARACHI: : The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) experienced a remarkable rally in the first week of the current fiscal year, setting new records.
The KSE 100 Index closed at 131,949 points, reflecting an increase of 7,570 points over the week. Throughout the trading week, the index fluctuated within a range of 7,629 points. The lowest point of the week was 124,500, while the highest reached 132,129.
During the week, a total of 483 million shares were traded, with a total market trading value of approximately 206 billion Pakistani Rupees. The market capitalization increased by 847 billion Rupees, reaching a total of 15,910 billion Rupees.
