Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continuing its bullish streak set a history on Wednesday by crossing two psychological barriers ended on historic high of 1, 45, 000 after gaining 2070 points.
The PSX benchmark KSE-100 Index rose by 2,051.33 points,from the previous close of 143,037.16, by crossing two psychological barriers of 144,000 and 145000 to an intraday high of 145,088.49.
It climbed to an intraday high of 145,187.17 points, gaining 2,150.01 points, or 1.50%, during the session — marking a historic peak for the bourse.
The index touched a low of 143,409.59, up 372.43 points, or 0.26%, from the previous close of 143,037.16.
