Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in principle decided to give license to the star link for provision of high speed satellite internet.
It is expected that the facility of robust high speed satellite internet will be available very soon.
The PTA officials confirmed that the star link licence is ready but it just needed a security clearance.
The license will be issued to the star link as gets the security clearance, the PTA officials said.
Later, the star link will have to sign a commercial agreement with the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
Then the star link has to submit the commercial agreement with SUPARCO to the PTA, the PTA officials said.
The PTA officials said that the service of the star link will be started with in less than of year.
From the satellite internet every citizen will get internet across the country.
