Khanewal: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Faisal Akram Khan has gotten victory at the by-elections of PP-209 after getting more than 71000 votes.
His opponent candidate belonging to ruling PML-N Chaudhry Shuja Ur Rehman has begged 57, 864 votes.
Faisal Akram Khan Niazi had won the seat back in 2018 elections as a PML-N candidate. He left the PML-N after differences emerged and later joined the PTI.
On this seat 176 polling stations were set up and eight candidates from the various parties took part in the elections.
