Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has changed his mass gathering in Rawalpindi to a protest while it also withdrew its petition for permission for holding rally in the garrison city.
Founding chairman of the party Imran Khan had directed to withdrawing the petition . The petition had to be heard today.
Former premier Imran Khan had said that instead of holding rally in Rawalpindi a protest will be held on September 28.
The PTI lawyers had challenged the district administration expected refusal for mass gathering in Rawalpindi .
Owing to transfer of Justice Sajid Ali Sethi from the bench the petition had been postponed for today.
Imran Khan direction to withdrawing the petition the PTI counsel Muhammad Faisal Malik withdrew the petition.
