Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is all set for an election campaign while he will announce a political strategy tomorrow (Saturday).
Former premier has directed all its party leadership to start preparations for rallies across the country. The PTI chief will address the rallies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PTI chief decision has come after the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday announced verdict in the suo moto notice over delay in elections in Punjab and KP.
The SC in its verdict ordered the ECP to hold elections in Punjab and KP within 90 days. The SC also ordered that the ECP be hold consultation with President and governors.
Two judges of five-member bench for hearing the suo moto notice of the SC supported the verdict while the same number of judges opposed the judgement.
Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Mazhar Ali agreed with the verdict while Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Jamal Mandokhail had different point of view.
