PTI Decides to Attend Parliamentary National Security Committee Meeting

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to participate in the Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting.

According to sources, the PTI leadership consulted within the opposition lobby. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, along with several other leaders, advocated for attending the National Security Committee meeting. Junaid Akbar suggested consulting with the founder of PTI.

Sources say that PTI has submitted a list of 14 names to the Speaker of the National Assembly, including Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser, and Zartaj Gul. The list also includes Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Aamir Dogar, Sanaullah Masti Khail, Ali Mohammad Khan, Ali Zafar, Senator Humayun Mehmood, Aon Abbas Bappi, and others.

Earlier, the government had requested PTI to submit names for attending the meeting. Speaker of the National Assembly and Chief Whip Tariq Fazal Chaudhry had contacted PTI and requested names for the committee meeting.
