ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) decided to hold public meeting in Raiwind on September 30 and an special task was given to Shah Mehmood Qureshi to convince opposition to join the meeting.
PTI all set to make the public meeting successful. District committees were formed to bring the activists in the public meeting on September 30. Imran Khan directed Jehangir Khan Tareen to reach Pakistan immediately. Tareen will arrive homeland tonight from London. He will participate in the party leaders meeting and district presidents meeting on Sunday in Islamabad. After the meeting, Imran Khan will formally announce the final date and strategy of the public meeting in Raiwind.
Jamaat-e-Islami summoned its Majlis-e-Shura meeting to make decision over PTI’s public meeting in Raiwind. JI Deputy Secretary General said that PTI is their collation party but every party has its own political culture. He said JI’s Majlis-e-Shura will decide to participate in the PTI meeting or not.
On the other hand, an application is submitted in Raiwind police station stating that besiege of Prime Minister’s house will be violation of the constitution.
