PTI decision to boycott Parliament’s joint session is deplorable: PML-N

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Tuesday said that the PTI decision to boycott Parliament’s specially-convened joint session to be addressed by visiting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was deplorable.

Addressing a press conference here,  Federal Minister for Railway Khwaja Saad Rafiq, who was accompanied by State Ministers Anusha Rehman, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and MNA Danyal Aziz, harshly criticized PTI for boycotting the joint session.

He urged the PTI chief to reconsider its decision to boycotting the session, adding that Prime Minister’s invitation to attend the joint session was not in his personal capacity.

Lashing out at Imran he said that the PTI chief was unable to differentiate between a personal invitation and joint session of the Parliament. He said that it was not the first time when PTI resorted to such deplorable practice as they had earlier boycotted Parliament’s joint session on Kashmir.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that politics was a trait with which Imran was not familiar.

Anusha Rehamn said that Prime Minister’s name was not in the Panama Leaks.  She added that Prime Minister’s children had submitted proofs in the SC regarding their foreign properties.
