LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Thursday announced it would boycott the by-elections to be held on the seats that fell vacant after the disqualification of its legislators following their convictions in the May 9 cases
The party directed its candidates to withdraw their nomination papers, saying not a single by-election would be contested.
On the other hand, sources in the PTI told media that the party would, however, contest the by-election to be held in NA-129 after the seat fell vacant due to the death of former Punjab governor Mian Muhammad Azhar.
