Islamabad: Federal Minister for science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized most of the names of the candidates for the senate elections.
In his tweet on Friday morning, the Minister said that Abdul Hafeez Shiekh and Fozia Arshad have been finalized from Islamabad while Faisal Wawda will contest senate elections from Sindh.

Abdul Qadir name has been finalized from Balochistan while Saif Ullah Niazi, Dr Zarqa and Barister Ali Zafar will be the PTI’s candidates from Punjab.
Shibli Faraz, Mohsin Aziz, Dost Muhammad, Sania Nishtar and Farzana names have been included in the final list from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Saif Ullah Abro will be the PTI candidate from technocrat seat while remaining seats announcement will be made later.
