Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken a vital steps to end political intensity in the country as a three member committee has been constituted to hold talks with Jamat-e-Islami (JI) for mediation with the PDM coalition government
A three member committee comprises former defense minister Pervez Khattak, PTI Senator Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary and former Punjab minister Mian Mehmood ur Rashid.
Secretary General Asad Umar on Sunday made the announcement on Twitter, saying that the decision came after a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan and JI Emir Sirajul Haq to break free from the current issues.
The PTI has issued a notification in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention here that the JI Ameer Siraj Ul Haq has started mediation between the PTI and PDM coalition government.
For the purpose the JI ameer along with delegation had called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif yesterday while the delegation also called on the PTI chief Imran Khan at his residence in Zaman Park.

During his meeting with the PM, the current political situation in the country and the judicial crisis were discussed. The leaders agreed that issues should be resolved with collective wisdom.

Sources privy to the matter said that the meetings remained highly successful as both sides agreed to sit at the negotiating table to end the months-long confrontation, which badly affected the country’s economy and the masses.
