ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government is mulling over dropping another petrol bomb on masses before Eid-ul-Fitr as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended increasing petrol prices by Rs9 per litre for the month of June.
According to sources, the OGRA has worked out about Rs9 per litre increase in the price of petrol, Rs11.50 in high-speed diesel (HSD), Rs12 in kerosene and Rs7.85 in light diesel oil (LDO).
Sources further reveal that OGRA will forward a summary of hike in fuel prices to the finance ministry on May 30. The final approval will be given by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
