PTI is doing “TikTok politics” polictics; Atta Tarar

NOWSHEHRA: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), for engaging in what he described as “TikTok politics” and relying on social media tactics to gain likes and popularity.

Speaking to the media in Nowshehra after offering his condolences to PML-N leader Ikhtiar Wali Khan on the passing of his mother, Attaullah Tarar emphasized that the primary responsibility of a Chief Minister is to serve the people. Instead, he claimed that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is wasting time and holding protests to push for an unlawful demand to meet with his party’s founder in jail.

He further stated that the PTI founder is currently incarcerated on charges of mega corruption, which have been proven. Addressing a question, he clarified that the PTI leader is not a political prisoner yet is being granted privileges in jail that no other political figure has ever received.

The Minister called for an end to what he described as baseless propaganda by PTI leaders, adding that promoting an anti-Pakistan narrative serves no one’s interests.
