The PTI once again failed to submit reply in the case.

Imran Khan’s counsel Shahdi Gondal appeared before the bench and presented Supreme Court’s order of June 13, 2017. He added that the SC had heard the counsel of ECP.

He maintained that the application of Akbar S. Baber and Hashim Bhutta were of same nature. He pleaded the ECP to adjourn Hashim Bhutta’s application for indefinite period.

Upon this the CEC said that first you have to accept or reject the reasons given in the application. After that we are ready to adjourn the matter for indefinite period, he remarked.

Akbar S. Baber’s counsel told the bench that the apex court had not issued any instruction regarding PTI party funding case. He added that the PTI was using every mean to avoid submitting party fund details.

The PTI counsel said that they had challenged ECP’s jurisdiction in party funding case in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Upon this, the CEC said that the ECP had given its verdict on jurisdiction and if the IHC had issued any stay order then it should be presented before the bench.

The CEC said that the Supreme Court would decide jurisdiction of ECP in party funding case.

Directing the PTI to submit details of party funding the ECP adjourned hearing of the petition by July 10, 2017.
