Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) members have announced to challenge the Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict regarding taking oath from Hamza Shahbaz.
The PTI counsel Azhar Siddique has said that they have prepared appeal against the LHC verdict adding that as the matter of seriousness the appeal will be filed before 12 am.
He said that the LHC verdict is against the law and the constitution whereas fixing the dates for oath by the high court is contempt for governor and President.
The counsel said that the LHC has no any right to take action against president and governor while article 248 of the constitution provides full protection to president and governor.
It is worth mentioning that the LHC has announced reserved verdict today of Hamza Shahbaz petaton ordering President and governor Punjab to take oath from newly newly elected chief minister Punjab until tomorrow.
