The PTI protestors demanded that the International Monetary Funds (IMF) impose strict condition on loans to Pakistan, link the release of installments to election results and investigations into allegations of rigging.
The protestors held banners against the release of PTI founder and the forces of Pakistan.
As per sources, Shahbaz Gul, a close associate of the co-founder of the PTI, was given the task of organizing the demonstration by the party leadership, the help of local and international NGOs was taken for the demonstration. It should be noted that the IMF delegation is in Pakistan for the review before the release of the third tranche of 1.1 billion dollars under the standby agreement and negotiations are ongoing with the Pakistani authorities.
